Infra-red Thermal Surveys
Infra-red heat loss surveys involve using a high definition thermal camera to define drafts and cold areas within the house from either air or water leaks.
This is used for Property Inspections, Refurbishment and Buildings Compliance.
We also conduct commercial Breeam surveys
Heat Loss Surveys
A Heat loss or thermal imaging survey provides some of the answers to why a building, home or room may feel colder than it should be or possibly cooler other parts of the building.
It identifies areas responsible for heat loss - due to draughts, gaps or missing (or possibly inadequately installed) insulation.
Thermal imaging cameras can detect the smallest difference in temperatures to accurately locate the coldest areas of a room or building. This will assist the surveyor by firstly identify the possible cause of the issue but more importantly offering advice on what potential improvements could be made to save you money.
